The overwhelming majority of eyewear products are manufactured in China, and most designer eyewear components originate in China and are assembled in the country of the designer. By contrast, this new factory space in the northwest suburbs of Illinois makes frames locally from beginning to end. The design of the space needed to be similarly unique.
